It seems that BOOT CAMP is the 'in' word at the moment. In fact pretty much everything I seem to read has the title Boot Camp in it.
But when does a fitness training programme become a Boot Camp fitness programme?

This got me thinking for some time as I checked out various 'Boot Camps' and decided we need some set in stone rules…

Bring on the 10 Commando-ments of Boot Camp Training!!!!

1. Thou shall never perform an isolation exercise on a specific bodypart

2. Thou shall never refer Boot Camp Training as cardio exercise

3. Thou Shall never consider not turning up because it looks like it going to rain!

4. Thou shall not be sick in the training area (go somewhere else)

5. Thou shall not be late for Boot Camp Training (punishment is 10 press up for every minute late, by my watch)

6. Thou shall not winge about what’s right or wrong- the head coach is always right

7. Thou shall cry, bleed, collapse, throw up but never surrender

8. Thou shall always support others

9. Thou shall never, ever perform triceps kickbacks. If you don’t know what they are consider yourself lucky

10. Thou shall obey the commando-ments

These are the 10 commando-ments for the moment. If you can think of anything better or relative to Boot Camp please let me know.

Boot Camp Training isn't cardio exercise?!? Sure feels like it! You can't properly call it weight training can you?

You better be pulling my leg Mr Latham!

Firstly, they're a pointless and pathetic excuse for an exercise. secondly or is this now thirdly? They are an isolation exercise, even more reason not to do them...

Whoops week 3 and i did not obey the rules and was late and got my punishment by the whip master!
Surely....If you obey all the rules you miss all the fun though!
I made up for it by supporting the Pink Panther and wearing my Pink Pussey T-shirt! Might have to find something Donald Ducky for next week!
And 10 pressups is not punishment enough! too easy! :0)
